Yeah I know...  You could add a PCMCIA USB 2 controller, but its
overkill....

I have one of these cases with a 10 Gb USB 2 capable drive in it... It works
fine (albet a little slow) on usb 1 machines.

And all that space totally wastes a USB thumb drive!
