In /etc/init.d/checkroot I found the line which remounts / rw. It ends
in 2> /dev/null. I uncommented that and got on the next startup the
message "mount: mount point /data/suse/data/gentoo does not exist".
Before all the problems started I had put this into my fstab: "/
/data/suse/data/gentoo none rw,bind,auto 0 0". After commenting it out
the system works again. I will put all those binds into an init-script.
