It would probably be best for Kelvyn to use one of the gui file managers, i.e. konqueror, xwc, gentoo, or xfe You can start konqueror as the root user from the 'K' menu and then d'n'd the file. System -> More Applications -> File Manager - Super User Mode. That's with the Kde menus as if direct from the KDE developers. You can split the window with Ctrl + Shift + T ( all 3 keys at the same time ) Goodness knows what your distributor has done to the menus. I have no way of telling. -- C. S.
