When I created myself as a normal user during installation, I definately added myself to the wheel group. Since that time I have been able to "su -", use the root password, and go about my business. Just in the last week or so I have lost the ability to do this. I have been syncing and updating every night, would it be possible that something I merged (config file maybe) might have removed me from that group or from the sudoers file? Cheers Tony
