Ah. The files on the DVD are .rpm files, archives of the files which are
copied to your disk when you install the package. Go into
yast->software->install/remove, select eciadsl...whateveritwascalled and
click on install. This is how you install packages with SuSE.

Every decent adsl ISP should give you a dial-up account as well.
Paradise does, though it costs $1-2/hour. Can't complain about it at all
for debugging/testing/when the cable is down, and it works nationwide.
I can even use both at the same time if I fiddle the routing table...
fun, but not really of practical use.
