I was contacted over the weekend by a guy who offered me *some* ubuntu disks. I suggested he join the list and offer them there. He seemed reluctant to do so and I arranged for him to drop them in to me.
So I now have about *200* Ubuntu disks, I haven't looked at every one of them, but they all look to be the latest version (5.04), mainly x86 but some ppc ones as well. I am reluctant to have 200 or even 20 people troop up to my office to collect them, but just to say that there will be plenty to give away at the next meeting. If anyone desperately needs one or fifty in the meantime, then do let me know. In the interim I have given one to a colleague, but as I couldn't make his lappie boot off a cd's are wasted so far... -- Nick Rout
