Actually, it was me they made the offer to. I've asked for some further information. I've no real pressing need to get hi-speed internet, so I'm in a position where I can take it or leave it. They tried a similar thing about a year ago, and I walked away. I'll push hard to see how many concessions I can get (and for how long I can get them). The physical cable is already hooked up to the house and wired in to the lounge (by the previous occupants). It's not like it is a lot of extra work for them to do. Cheers, Carl.
