First .. this list has been a bit quiet lately..
Second .. As it seems Telecom is not directly responsible for this
"massive" outage, who is? More importantly what level of public
liability are they accountable for?
Third .. why isn't there another Internet access method - heck even bi
directional satellite would serve.
How did it affect me :
My business was completely shut down for 5 hours.

It doesn't relate to linux. Rik asked for other peoples experiences, and
although slightly OT but IMHO a bit of noise on computer related issues
is fine.
However whilst asking for other people's experience Rik seemed unable to
describe his own in any meaningful terms. and thats where we got stuck.
