Greetings, I use amarok to play music. With the xine-plugin I can play most kinds of media (Actions -> Play Media). Unfortunately when amarok scans my collection it only recognizes some of the media types xine can play. Under Gentoo it leaves wma out and under Ubuntu mp3 which is even worse. I could convert my whole collection to ogg-vorbis but my mp3-player plays only, as the name implies mp3. I am also short of hard disk space which is not unusual with five OSs on one laptop, so keeping everything twice is also not an option. I tried googling for it and had a look at some configuration file but could not find anything. Is there any way to correct this problem?
