For all but the most huge of applications there would be very little advantage to using that
great big hairy huge ginormous gargantuan humungous...thing.

they run Oracle Financials at work and they are seriously considering a cluster of cheapish (approx $15k) pizza box servers running Redhat instead of an approx $140k Sun Box.

This gives you an idea of the scale that Oracle is at home with.

And incidentally there are many who say that Oracle Financials is still overpowered for our little University.
