Yes, but my garage is separate from the house.

Although, as somebody (whom I can't now remember) helpfully pointed
out, because my ADSL modem has (as well as a firewall and switch)
802.11g wireless, I can still a server in the garage as long as I get
a PCI wireless card for it (about $50-$70 on trademe).
