You'll always get bitten by something. My Tosh has a bios that I can't get into and is skewed towards M$, which means I'll never get the firewire or card reader to work under Linux (:
I got the replacement battery from the Laptop Company and ony (!) cost $157, which I thought was pretty good as this model was never sold in NZ.
