ffs why would *anyopne* pay for linux licenses in this environment? And I don't mean the delivered package, which obviously needs loads of tailoring.
samba can't master AD domains, which means that at some point in the near future the clients are going to have to change to linux, or there's going to have to be M$ PDC somewhere. That's going to take loads of analysis ( a word which seems to be totally alien to the M$ mindset ) and design to get working, and is a project that *should* be government funded.
