MAndrake cant work the same as RH then... thats a little suprising,
assumed it'd work...
Try
man mount (dont laugh, it's a legit command...)
Tell me what that does...

how can I find the path to my cdrom ??
I have tried several suggestions from previous posts although I must admit
to not understanding what the -> is actually meant to be in (instructions
from Ross Drummond):
/dev/hdc -> ide/host0/bus1/target0/lun0/cd
I get..... no such file or directory, with:
mount /dev/cdrom
