hi all is anyone else having trouble with the local Gentoo mirrors?
In /etc/make.conf I'm using: GENTOO_MIRRORS="ftp://linux.jetstreamgames.co.nz/dist/gentoo http://gentoo.recoil.net.nz/gentoo ftp://ftp-stud.fht-esslingen.de/pub/Mirrors/gentoo http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/gentoo"; I've had a bit of trouble connecting to "jetstreamgames" lately when I ping I get: dave # ping -c 4 linux.jetstreamgames.co.nz PING linux.jetstreamgames.co.nz (203.96.92.91) 56(84) bytes of data. --- linux.jetstreamgames.co.nz ping statistics --- 4 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 3009ms the other mirrors appear to be working fine... -- cheers................dave g Mail to: "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" ================================================== Kmail 1.8.2 - Kontact 1.1.2 - KDE Desktop 3.4.2 Gentoo Linux - kernel 2.6.12-gentoo-r6 (x86_64) ==================================================
