Ok so I recently moved my boot area onto a partition of it's own but it's all gone horribly wrong.
As far as I can tell the menu.lst file is fine, I can still boot into everything etc, but instead of the GRUB menu where I normally select the OS from I instead get a black screen with a blinking cursor, and when I do boot into something it tends to have likes of white dots up and down the screen or just a lot of plain white noise. I've tried running update-grub and grub-install /dev/hda but neither seems to help. Any suggestions? --Slosh
