Do read my subsequent post - fundamentally you need EITHER: a synthesiser in your soundcard that has a linux driver; OR a hardware port that connects to an external synthesiser (most likely through your soundcard's joystick port) and a driver for the port; OR a soft synthesiser like timidity or fluidsynth. > > Cheers, rik >
