Got a box yesterday. It's got 1 printed manual in it, and 6 disks: installation CD 1-5 for x86, and a dual-layer installation DVD for x86 and AMD64/EMT64. The sources DVD is missing, probably to do with the fact that the cost of the box is now less than half.
The disks in the box contain various non-OSS software like softmodem drivers, java, demo/free versions of softmaker's textmaker and planmaker, which the OSS CDs don't have. Unfortunately I won't have time before Monday to install it, but it's looking very good. The booting is *much* faster, the hotplug system is completely new and much faster, and it's got the usual everything new, eg current OO, KDE, etc. I'm downloading the src DVD now, anybody know a NZ mirror? (Vain question, I know.) Volker -- Volker Kuhlmann is possibly list0570 with the domain in header http://volker.dnsalias.net/ Please do not CC list postings to me.
