OT or not?
This is the reply I got after clicking a link on an email sent to me by
Coke about their latest offerings, including media clips, and finding, as
you see, that they support IE and only IE. My original brief complaint is
included.
So I'm a luddite compared to most of you guys, but it looks like rubbish to me.
I'm tempted to reply, but lack the expertise. What do you guys ('n gals)
say? <dons flame suit>

Dear David,
Thanks for your e-mail.
Our site is set up to allow licensed downloads of tracks to users with a
machine set up to deal with licensed media. For this purpose we reply on
the integration between Windows Media Player and Internet Explorer.
Unfortunately other Browser software does not yet support the same level
of integration. Regrettably users of other Browser software are not be
able to use the service.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Kind regards,
Kevin West

Support for Internet Explorer only???????
What about Netscape, Opera, Firefox, and all those little browsers on
the latest cell-phones???
Can't run IE over Linux!!
So how about simply making your pages w3c compliant, or providing
support for alternative browsers?
