Hi,I have been looking into getting an internal PCI modem lately. Having already played with winmodems under linux I would perfer to avoid that again. I am asking if any one has found a good modem that has voice capabilities and will work well under linux. I have read that the intel 537 based ones are good, but I need to find a store that sells them. Many stores don;t specify what intel chipset the modem uses, instead just saying intel based. Either I have to get an external modem that has full duplex voice support, an internal PCI one that works.... or an ISA one (yes I have one ISA slot...). The modem is not going to be used for the net so speed isn't and issue. The main thing is voice capabilities.
