I've found the above is really the cheapest option. I got a whole bunch of slides scanned in when I was back in Ireland and the result was less than impressing. I've also tried scanning them with a back light, and that wasn't very impressive. Projecting them and taking a picture was less time consuming, less expensive and the result [for me] was much improved to the other methods. Glynn
