You might want to be a little more specific:

ISA/PCI
8/16 bit
SoundBlaster or Random Taiwanese OEM

otherwise you might end up with an 8-bit ISA SoundBlaster (which ought to 
be in landfill, but is in fact in my junk box).

By the way, there isn't a tiny switch on the microphone body that mutes it 
by any chance...?
