Mostly they get thrown away, unless they are are intergrated with the dash panel and it is too difficult to remove.
I not come across one with anything other than proprietary connection plug. I am sure you can persuade a car dealer to give you one. Thus start it up in Kiwiland, hang a left, and watch the nav system track your progress over the Inland Sea. > Does anyone know what happens to the navigation stuff that gets pulled out > of these Japanese imports?
