My .02c worth - most businessmen have never heard of linux.
What they need to see is a box running typical business apps - say
Open/Star Office for the lawyers, accountants, managers etc
And a fax driver so that those reports can be faxed out
And a simple database to maintain client lists (contacts etc)
A simple accounting package to take care of the cashbooks and accounts rendered
And a card beside the machine to let people know what it can do so they
know to ask about the above and don't assume it can only do the few
programmes that are on display at any one moment.

Just things that Linux can do that are kewl... not even that some other
os can do them as well.
We seem to be focusing on 'install linux'... but we know that linux is
easy to install...
Let's focus on 'kewl thing you can do with linux'.... don't care if some
other os can do them as well.... that's like saying 'this car has kewl
colour... errr so does ever brand that has a blue car for sale' :)
Also think we should focus on marketing[1] the fact that you can run nix
and other os on the same box at the same time....
if we can get some fast HP/IBM boxes we could show off the face you can
run windows within nix and nix with in windows.... this is a good thing
for consumers because they can 'try before they buy' and aren't limited
which means less risk to having a go.
