Yep.  I ran it briefly yesterday - but not on the postulated defunct hd.  I was
getting a total blank on seeing /dev/hda last night.

Thanks.  I've started rewriting a story that had its genesis in a weird dream I
had in 1987, which I remembered on waking, which I tried to turn into a story
way back then.  Twenty years between start and finish?  (shrugs) It happens.  So
does (censored) .... ;)
