Not a recommendation but I have broadband under consideration too, just learnt that it is now available at our local exchange in Sefton. After considering several offers, Slingshot's options appeal, by signing onto their toll service the cost per month is: 1. $29.95 for 256 kbps download or 2. $39.95 for 2Mbps Both plans are capped at 3GB, additional capacity can be bought for: 3 GB = $5 10 GB =$10 30 GB = $20 50 GB = $30 Upload speed is 128 kbps in both cases and the termination fee is $100 within 12 months. IHUG have a different approach, they consider broadband is all about speed and only offer 2Mbps. With tolls, for $39.95/month the cap is 2 GB plus 2 GB off peak ie. midnight to 8am. If either the capacities are exceeded (they are treated separately) the speed is drastically reduced for the remainder of the month. Both BSP have other incentives that I won't elaborate on. Like Matthew I'd appreciate further guidance?? Cheers... Rex
