Wrong! the second should read ln -s ../nmb S36nmb. Otherwise you'll just
get confused later.

Also,

cd ../rc6.d

ln -s ../smb K65smb
ln -s ../nmb K64nmb

and the same in rc0.d, and you probably want to start them in rc3 as well,
publishing your shares even if you're not in graphical mode?.

( at least! ). Note that using 2 numbers that sum to 100 will ensure that
the programs are shut down in exactly the opposite order to startup. Not
that any vendors follow this ages old rule ): Mose distros have a tool to
set this up, like chkconfig, which is much less tedious.
