Oh yes. I can however relate to his delimers. So over whelming to get

That would make life easier than having to run dpkg? Thou you'd still
have to run apt-get... or could it be done using the gui tools?

Looks as if I'm going to have to get Ubuntu on my other drive, and I've
given all the Kubuntu disks away. :-( Every single one.
