Both are fine. Both are set up to *only* run at 1280x1024, and both are doing so. I'm running debian testing, and my partner in crim has the same problem with gentoo. I'll try gnome tomorrow, although I'm being forced to use the KDE IDE for development at the moment. Anything else you're after? I have no problem whatsoever here at home with an old Acer 1280x1024 monitor with fc4 and an nvidia card. It's almost like the fonts need to be bolder. Steve
