Thanks for that Hads. You can download a pricelist from linuxservices.co.nz ( 
can't remember where - and you have to look quite hard: it's a pdf ), but a 
tdm400p with one fxo and one fxs and 2 empty ports is $380, and fxo/fxs modules 
are 135/120 each. The board needs a dedicated power supply ( like an hdd ) if 
it needs to ring an extension. There's also sineapps.com in Dunedin, but afaict 
one of the main players has wandered off to Italy. I'm still hoping for an 
answer to my emails, though.

BTW, these boards ( surprise, surprise ) are not certified for use on telecom 
lines, but seem to be legal on telstra. However, if you no longer use pots, 
then that's not an issue.
