Assuming the "stand alone box" is running a standard Linux, issue the command:- wget \ http://superb-west.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/ipcop/ipcop-install-1.4.10.i386.iso This will download the file and save it to the current working directory. It's about 41 megs. Now, burn a CD - possibly using K3B - It's an .iso image file, which should be recorded direct to the CD. It should not be placed in a filesystem. > Does it come with a GUI or do I need to install something like Mandrake > first ?? No, Just put the new CD in the drive and boot the computer. Then just do as it, and the ipcop web site, tells you. -- CS
