Actually, that may not be the case. I live 'out in the sticks' in the UK, and its only been in the last 2 years I have been able to get 512K ADSL. Speed is not really that much of an issue for me, but I do have the luxury of an uncapped service which doesn't look like it will be an option. Having said that, I've never monitored how much I transfer so I may not need it anyway! Thanks to everyone for all the info, seems there are a few options to consider.
