point it to tv_grab_nz. nz is not provided for in the setup options.
I am running frontend & backend from separate command lines to check
error msgs:---
backend msgs NVR: Only read -1 bytes of 4096 bytes from '/dev/dsp
read audio: Input/output error
frontend msgs NVP::OpenFile(): Error, couldn't read
file:/mnt/store//1011_20060425113037.nuv
TV Error: StartPlayer(): NVP is not playing after 20000 msec
TV Error: LiveTV not successfully started
I have managed to save a short movie clip which I can view - sans sound.
Also several short empty files.
All suggestions would be welcome, or would a fixup session be better?

Fixup might be better, if there is an aerial available.

Anyway, assuming you want to carry on discussing on this list. To
change the setting to ALSA simply type it in there, you can type
anything in, you don't need to choose one of the menu items.
There is no built in mythfilldatabase option for NZ, you need to roll
your own. There are some suggestions in the knoppmythwiki, or ask on
the mythtvnz list (or search its archives) there has been a lot of
discussion about it. Archives are here:
