Sorry, been out to dinner. Glad to see I've caused a bit of entertainment (:

Basically, I came across a potential home for my Compaq DL360, which I
originally built to run www.keekaboo.com, an electronic->real postcard site in
2001 ( I ended up with the hardware in payment for decommisioning it when it
went bust! ). At the time, it was running a 2.0.2x kernel, so I knew that it
would run a 2.2 kernel, as it's currently running centos with a 2.6.12 kernel
quite happily. It's a nicely specced machine - dual 18GB fast scsi disks ( ok
one's 10k and the other 's 15k... ), 1.6GB memory and dual 966 P3's. Worth very
little in todays market, unless you have someone who's after a backup system
running 2.2 kernels, as their software won't run anything else.

I'd like to see it having an useful future, rather ending up on trademe for a
few dollars in the hands of someone who really doesn't know what they've got.
Plus it may help someone sleep easier at night!

Unless there's someone else out there who's interested???

Steve
