OK it works as root, but that situation is not brilliant, as running
stuff as root is not entirely advisable for security reasons.

But if you want a quck and dirty solution to getting the photos off the
camera now, you can download them as root like this

gphoto2 -P

Can you bring the computer to the St Albans meeting tomorrow night, 7.30
