Yes, no problem, that would kinda be the sensible date to do it. I've entered it on the Wiki. Any specific issues anyone would like me to go into, or questions to be answered, please post them now and I'll incorporate. > > > 2) Digital photo handling under Linux > Shorter talks seem to be better than an entire evening, because they give > time for Fix-Fest sessions, and social interactions. > > Volker: Would you care to split your talk into two for presentation over > two meetings? I can certainly try to split, though it makes things more difficult. Both parts would want to be interesting and somewhat confined by themselves, but I'll find some way. I'd like to point out again that the emphasis is on photos, not Linux. Linux is a means, not an end. I'll assume for this one that any software mentioned is installed and functional, and I don't want to go beyond outlining the installation process. If you like, have a "how to install/fix software" session afterwards. That might be good - 1h presentation, break, 1/2h+ fixup (related or not). Times two months. There is usually enough time for socialising during the break, and after the last talk. Again, please anyone post (or email me, if you prefer) specific questions, issues, etc you'd like me to address, and I'll make sure they're covered. What dates? This one needs plenty of preparation for a good result. Volker -- Volker Kuhlmann is list0570 with the domain in header http://volker.dnsalias.net/ Please do not CC list postings to me.
