This is currently broken, like a lot of the package magement. Package management in 10.1 was redesigned to handle the kitchen sink. While a good idea in principle which was late in coming, some manager at Novell decided to push it out before it was finished. Expect many fixes in the coming weeks. Start with installing a newer package management stack: http://lists.opensuse.org/archive/opensuse-factory/2006-Jun/0025.html Glance over: http://en.opensuse.org/Bugs%3AMost_Annoying_Bugs You should be able to add some packman repository and install packages made for 10.1, which include the codecs SUSE isn't allowed to ship. I haven't made it that far myself yet. Don't use konqueror for packages at this point.
