I was getting "An error occurred while loading audiocd:/:  Access denied to 
/dev/cdrom" in Konqueror but a google search fixed the problem with my scsi 
emulated cd writer /dev/cdrom --> /dev/sr0.

'ls -al /dev/s?0'
'chmod 777 /dev/sg0'
    
then set /dev/sg0 as the device in Control Centre - Audio Device - CDDA

Its a excellent file transfer tool from the KDE team and something I have 
ignored untill now as I usually just play cd's with Xine.
