When we got our laptop I was going to leave XP on for my wife, but due to mishap (deleted the wrong partition and OEM restore disk failed) I ended up wiping XP for good. Wife finds KDE+OOo+FireFox more than adequate. Just about every distro lets you intall dual boot - just make sure you know 100% which partition does what before you mess around, or you might lose XP for good. Yuri
