The only reason I'm contemplating moving away from Solaris (stable with good critical patch management) is to have a go at porting AppArmor (excellent wrapper for SELinux if you've never looked at it - SELinux is too much hard work or me to play with directly in it's current stage) to a non-SuSE machine and I know I'll have an easier time of this with a linux kernel base.
