I gave up on trying to install nvidia drivers from nvidia.com. I'm running FC5 and while searching for a solution to my problem I found this:
http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=65454 and especially this: https://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-test-list/2006-February/msg01565.html very helpful. I installed my driver from livna and had no problem since. True, every time there is another kernel version issued for FC5 I have to wait a few days (two or three) until livna releases the new rpms. You get used to it though... Adrian On Tue, 2006-07-04 at 12:34 +1200, HappyEvilSlosh wrote: > Greetings all. > > Recently after swapping kernels the nvidia drivers started not working > on me.
