its a broadcom chip. It says so in lspci.

Search on the device id's - vendor and product, or just on broadcom
4318. However as I have told you it should just work in 6.06, you can
use ndiswrapper in 5.10.

The point is that writing to an ntfs partition under windows doesn't
work that well and you risk corruption of the XP partition by mounting
it rw.

Try the little icon at the top right that is flashing to tell you that
upgrades are available.

Why not load 6.06 over the top tomorrow. I have media and will be at the
meeting (given that I have the keys).
