no one has ever been banned in my memory. But some people do test the
patience.

I dunno, I provided it as a google maps reference for use with goolge
maps, that is all. It is, however, in plain text wrapped in xml if you
actually look. Therefore owners of GIS equipment can do what they like
with it - but if their equipment has an open interface it is trivial to
extract the latitude and longitude info from the attachment and put it
into their device. Oh and i hope that a 559 byte attachment that was ON
topic was acceptable - it certainly met CraigF's criteria.

If they have a campus I suppose they could offer us space for a meeting,
then they won't need a map, compass, google earth or anything other than
what is between their ears to get there.

yes a link might have been nice.

all platforms that are likely to be in use support http.

And getting smaller it seems, I guess largely because of the drivel that
some members insist on sending to the list on a regular basis.

There have been 2 or 3 maps and a google earth link posted. How much
fucking easier do you want it to be? What did you do before online maps?
You went to the phone book and looked up "Shirley Community Centre" -
which gave you an address. You then used local knowledge, friends' local
knowledge and/or a bloody map. How hard is it?
