The code.gif provides at least some measure of spam-bot protection. Of
course we need more. Good to be seeing progress at SFD Forum.
Reading mail headers offers a crude means for stock drafting too, but it
works: Don's came from "Thunderbird 1.5.0.4 (Windows/20060516)"

Steve how cleaver are these tools now? Spotting a tool based on a range
of params isn't that hard. Automating a tool to look at content and
reject based on such isn't that hard either, and unless you're talking
about a big post load then there's pleanty of time on the server to do
it. I think those image things are just plain annoy and and rude to
your valid users.
Can you direct us to any *nix-based software specifically please? Or how
much server scripting are you able to contribute? In which languages?
And what should we do with our invalid users?
