Precisely - I have 10/2 Mbit cable at work, and the fastest speed shown by
my RRD graphs is 3.32 Mbit.

But we did 38 Gb of data last month :(

No it just means you can get to the limit, so they charge you for the extra,
a lot earlier in the  month.
