A nice report on one of the recent OSCON talks; "How Open Source Projects Survive Poisonous People" Recommended reading for CLUG; we are currently experiencing a severe increase in bile levels in multiple places, and this needs to be thought about, not reacted to. Shades of Gary Larson's amoeba -- "Stimulus-response, stimulus-response. Don't you ever *think*?" Some of the presentation is necessarily slanted towards the project development process, but the overall mechanisms are about *communication*. There is a well-known catchphrase from USENET, which sums it all up more succinctly. "Don't feed the trolls" -jim
