Yes it seems that way, although I wonder if others have thought that there
have been more Ubuntu related questions on this list than any other distros.
Is that because it is the most used around here or that it has problems other

I've also noticed that Ubuntu features a lot on this list.
Based on the fact that there have several gentoo mini-install-fests,
I'd hazard a guess that there are plenty of gentoo users too, or at
least people who have tried it.
And I've also noticed that any post that fits the pattern:
* I've just installed disto-X and I found it better/easier/sexier
than distro-Y *
is bound to start a long thread :-)
Two observations from the rest of this thread:
