Have you used fakeroot Nick?

Have you used dnsmasq 2.32?

The answer in the end to get it installed was to just use the --force all option in dpkg to install the dep libs.

Next problem I had was an error about the script I'm trying to call which I think I've fixed.

Now the script just doesn't seem to call with every refresh. It just outputs when I start dnsmasq.

Off to read some source now I think :)

Thanks for your help.

Cheers Don

The problem is that I don't follow the scope of what fakeroot is... I read some help on it, but didn't understand why it applies here...

man fakeroot

look Don, if you can't look at the documentation and then ask what you don't
understand AFTER reading the docs its really quite frustrating. If you want to
start building debian packages from source then read some documentation about
that too please.
