IMHO the list is not open for abuse of the sort that you just dished out in the last hour or so Don. We discussed this offlist yesterday and I thought you had the message firmly and had agreed to relax and let some stuff that annoyed you slide. A week ago I was in favour of having you banned from the list. In the meantime I resiled from that view as there was only mixed support for it and several people spoke in favour of your efforts, if not your mannerisms. I took those views on board and I have spent the last couple of days in off-list mail discussing with you and others that things should just be let slide and that trolls should not be fed by any of us. In other words I have tried to be a peace maker (and I also acknowledged that I have thrown a few stones myself, including intemperate language, for which I apologised to you off list, and which apology I now repeat on list.) However enough is enough.
