Yes. With every release tried (4.10, 5.04, 5.10, 6.06), getting smooth
playback from something_or_other (DVD etc) has always quickly
necessitated dumping it. Because installing Xine, which works much
better, requires that. There's a bunch of de-codec packages needed too.
